Teaching

I love teaching – both my parents were teachers and its just in my blood. I have been singing for over 25 years and offer a supportive environment to learn more about your voice, your artistry, music theory, songwriting and preparing for your next step, whether that be exams, college, auditions or performances.

I teach in East London and also via zoom. I have taught vocals at Mountview Academy of Theatre arts and my choirs have performed at the BBC Proms, Royal Variety Show, Olivier Awards and BBC Strictly Come Dancing. My session credits include Disney and released dance tracks.

Ever wanted to understand what is happening when we sing? Learn how to make a range of vocal choices, make your speaking and singing voice reliable and predictable, make high notes feel free and easy, learn to project and have clarity –  great for public speakers and leaders too.

I sang from when I was a child and quickly started taking on professional work. However I encountered vocal problems when I was doing a lot of session recordings where the producers wanted a very breathy light sound. This affected my range, my power, my stamina. I didn’t know what was going on!  Thankfully, studying on the Estill Master Trainer pathway with Anne Marie Speed has taught me so much about our voices and I am testimony that we can improve through training.

I would love to help you, no matter where you think your voice is at.

Feeling confident with your singing but want more connection to the music? Want a few technique tweaks? I’m also happy to help!
