Friday 21st January at 8pm (doors open 6.30pm)
The Pheasantry, 152/154 King’s Rd, Chelsea SW3 4UT
Join Hannah & Friends tonight at the Pheasantry to celebrate the launch of Hannah’s new EP ‘A Piece of My Heart’. Fresh from a sold-out show supporting the award-winning Blazin’ Fliddles, folk/pop singer-songwriter Hannah Brine is joined by guests including West-End-turned country singer Steve Balsamo (of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar). The set features songs written by Hannah in collaboration with hit writer Michael Gavin, (credits include Dusty Springfield, Jennifer Lopez and George Benson).
Hannah’s career as a songwriter, award-winning choral director and session singer sees her regularly collaborate with hit writer Michael Garvin (widely known for penning the global Number One hit, Waiting for Tonight recorded by Jennifer Lopez, and the worldwide, multi-platinum Never Give Up on a Good Thing for George Benson.) The EP features songs the pair have written together.
Hannah’s work over lockdown has seen her tracks feature on new British radio soap opera Greenborne, starring John Altman (Eastenders’ Nasty Nick Cotton). She can also be found composing for choirs. Her piece Winter Lark, written during the 2020 pandemic, was premiered on Scala Radio, and Ray of Sunlight was recently performed by the London Symphony Orchestra’s Discovery Youth Choir.
Hannah is joined by Tal Janes on guitar, Ed Blunt on keys, Sara Farina on bass, James Nall on drums, Meg Ella Brookes on cello and backing vocals & Katy Ellis on violin and backing vocals.
