I had the pleasure of conducting a¬†wonderful concert on July 15th at Regent Hall, Oxford Street, with Anita Wardell and the Hamish Balfour trio. Samba in the City saw my two community choirs Kensington Singers and Victoria Park Singers join to sing samba, jazz and soul songs, as well as Bob Chilcott’s A Little Jazz Mass (which we all loved). I’m very proud to say that not only did we make an awesome sound but we also raised ¬£1,200 for charity – Oxfam’s Nepal Earthquake appeal and Doula UK.

I am now nearing the end of my Estill Levels 1 & 2 training in voice, so next term will be TECHNIQUE, TECHNIQUE, TECHNIQUE (and lots of artistry and magic too!)
